HMS Prince of Wales Battleship - LEGO® MOC - Building Instructions

Commissioned in 1941 and the only modern British battleship sunk in World War II, HMS Prince of Wales packed more history into her brief ten-month career than most warships manage in decades.

She scored three hits on the Bismarck at the Battle of the Denmark Strait in May 1941, transported Winston Churchill across the Atlantic to meet Roosevelt for the signing of the Atlantic Charter in August, and was sunk off the coast of Malaya on December 10, 1941, by Japanese torpedo bombers as part of Force Z. She became one of the first capital ships in history destroyed entirely by air attack while underway.
