Not to be confused with the ill-fated HMHS Britannic lost in 1916, the MV Britannic was a 712-foot White Star Line ocean liner built by Harland and Wolff in Belfast and launched in 1929 as the largest British motor vessel in the world at the time, the first of only two diesel-powered ships the White Star Line ever built.
She crossed the North Atlantic for three decades, survived the Cunard-White Star merger of 1934, transported over 180,000 troops across 376,000 miles during World War II, and outlived every other White Star liner before being scrapped in 1961 as the very last of her line.
This LEGO MOC recreates her at 1:1400 scale with a display stand included.
