The lead ship of her class and the most powerful surface combatant the United States Navy ever put to sea, the USS Iowa was commissioned in February 1943 and went on to escort carrier task forces across the Pacific and secretly transported President Roosevelt to the Tehran Conference. She earned 11 battle stars across World War II and Korea, and was reactivated a third time in the 1980s with Tomahawk cruise missiles before her final decommissioning in 1990.

Uniquely among her peers, all four Iowa-class sisters survived the war intact. This free 91-part micro-scale LEGO MOC recreates her as part of the BOBBY BRIX 2017 battleship series.
