The first high-rise in Czechoslovakia to exceed 100 metres when it opened on December 11, 1975. The Slovak Television Building in Bratislava's Mlynská dolina stood as Slovakia's tallest building for over a quarter century until 2002.
It was designed by architect Jozef Struhař as the centrepiece of a broadcasting complex built across three phases between 1956 and 1981. Today the 27-floor tower sits empty beside the Bratislava Zoo, an imposing and largely forgotten piece of Slovak modernist architecture. This 293-part micro-scale LEGO MOC recreates it at 1:1100 scale with all its defining features.
