First flown in 1935 and still in commercial service in remote parts of the world today, the Douglas DC-3 revolutionised air travel by making passenger aviation profitable for the first time. This model was carrying over 90% of all US airline traffic by 1939 before going on to serve as the C-47 military transport that helped define Allied logistics in World War II.

This free 32-part micro-scale LEGO MOC recreates its twin-prop engines, rounded nose, and classic tail structure as a tribute to one of the most important aircraft ever built.
