Built by Alstom and entering service on Christmas Eve 1997, the London Underground 1996 Stock was ordered to support the Jubilee Line Extension from Green Park to Stratford and went on to replace the entire existing 1983 Stock fleet.

Named after Queen Elizabeth II's Silver Jubilee and running in the line's distinctive silver grey livery, the Jubilee line is one of London's busiest underground routes carrying over 200 million passenger journeys annually before the pandemic.

This free 339-part mini-scale LEGO MOC recreates the 1996 Stock in a two-wagon design inspired by the Jubilee line livery, with removable doors on each wagon for a peek inside.
