The greatest feat of wartime industrial production in history, the Liberty ship program turned out 2,710 cargo vessels between 1941 and 1945, an average of three ships every two days, using assembly-line welding techniques pioneered by industrialist Henry Kaiser that cut construction time from months to as few as 42 days.

Named by President Roosevelt to bring liberty to Europe, they carried two thirds of all US cargo during World War II and collectively transported over 29 million tons of weapons, food, and supplies across the Atlantic and Pacific.

This free 87-part mini-scale LEGO MOC recreates the iconic silhouette of this unsung workhorse of Allied victory at matching scale to the BOBBY BRIX 2017 and 2018 warship series.
