The tandem rotor configuration has been a cornerstone of heavy military lift since the Boeing CH-47 Chinook entered service in 1962. A twin counter-rotating rotor configuration that helped eliminate the need for a tail rotor and allow a longer cargo bay and greater lifting capacity than conventional helicopters.

This free 43-part micro-scale LEGO MOC takes inspiration from the Chinook and other tandem designs without replicating any specific model, with two poseable rotors packed into a compact and impressive micro-scale build.
