First flying on April 23, 2001, the Airbus A340-600 was the longest passenger aircraft in the world at its launch, stretching 75.36 metres and briefly holding that record until the Boeing 747-8 surpassed it years later.

Powered by four Rolls-Royce Trent 556 engines and capable of carrying up to 380 passengers across 7,900 nautical miles, it became the flagship of carriers including Virgin Atlantic, Iberia, and Lufthansa before the twin-engine economics of the Boeing 777 and Airbus A350 rendered four-engine widebodies commercially unviable.

Production ended in 2011 with just 97 delivered, closing the A340 programme entirely.

This free 81-part micro-scale LEGO MOC recreates the A340-600's unmistakably stretched silhouette at approximately 1:350 scale in Airbus house livery, completing the full A340 family alongside the -200, -300, and -500 variants.
