Build a LEGO 1:1000 scaled recreation of the iconic USS New Jersey Battleship that served during World War II! 

HISTORY

USS New Jersey (BB-62) was the second of the Iowa-class fast battleships built for the United States Navy. Launched in December 1942 and commissioned in May 1943, she measured 270 meters in length, displaced over 57,000 tons fully loaded, and carried a main armament of nine 16-inch guns. During World War II, New Jersey served in the Pacific, providing anti-aircraft defense for carrier groups and bombarding Japanese-held islands in support of amphibious operations.

After the war, New Jersey was reactivated for service during the Korean War, Vietnam War, and again in the 1980s as part of the U.S. Navy’s modernization program, where she was outfitted with Tomahawk and Harpoon missiles. She earned more combat action than any other U.S. battleship, receiving 19 battle stars across her career. Decommissioned in 1991, she is now preserved as a museum ship in Camden, New Jersey.
