The most historically significant warship of the 20th century, the USS Missouri was the site of Japan's formal surrender on September 2, 1945, the moment that ended World War II, making her deck one of the most consequential pieces of ground in modern history.

Commissioned in 1944, she fought through Iwo Jima and Okinawa, returned to action in Korea, and was reactivated a third time in the 1980s before firing Tomahawk cruise missiles during Operation Desert Storm in 1991. Decommissioned in 1992, she is now preserved at Pearl Harbor, Hawaii, where she sits within sight of the USS Arizona memorial.

This LEGO MOC recreates her at 1:1000 scale.

(Part 85975 might be too expensive to acquire on certain marketplaces and can be replaced with a regular 33492 in light bluish grey instead).
