Build a LEGO 1:1000 scaled recreation of the iconic USS Iowa Battleship that served during World War II! 

HISTORY

The USS Iowa (BB-61) was the lead ship of the Iowa-class battleships and served in the United States Navy from 1943. Designed for speed and heavy firepower, Iowa displaced over 57,000 tons fully loaded and was equipped with nine 16-inch guns capable of striking targets over 20 miles away. She saw combat in World War II, providing fire support in the Pacific and escorting aircraft carriers.

Iowa was later reactivated for service in the Korean War and again during the Cold War in the 1980s, when she was modernized with Tomahawk cruise missiles, Harpoon missiles, and Phalanx CIWS. Decommissioned in 1990, she now serves as a museum ship at the Port of Los Angeles in San Pedro, California.
