The most feared tank of World War II, the Tiger I entered combat in late 1942 with 120mm of frontal armour and an 88mm KwK 36 gun capable of destroying a T-34 at over a kilometre. The Tiger I was able of achieving kill ratios of better than 10:1 against Allied armour and forcing every nation it faced to redesign their anti-tank doctrine around it.
Just 1,347 were built between 1942 and 1944, making it one of the most expensive and mechanically complex tanks of the war, but its psychological impact on Allied crews far exceeded its numbers.
This free 68-part micro-scale LEGO MOC recreates it as one of the early tank designs in the BOBBY BRIX collection. And just like the tank itself, this micro-scaled design, is genius for what it is.
