France's fifth-generation high-speed train, the TGV-M was developed by SNCF Voyageurs and Alstom under a €3.5 billion order for 115 trainsets placed in 2018, clocked nearly one million kilometres of testing before receiving European regulatory approval on May 29, 2026, and is scheduled to carry its first passengers in September 2026.

Capable of 320 km/h and seating up to 740 passengers, 20% more than previous TGV generations, it also cuts energy consumption by 20% through aerodynamic improvements.

This free 30-part micro-scale LEGO MOC recreates the TGV-M power car ahead of the full train release coming in April.
