The sole survivor of Bratislava's four medieval city gates, Michael's Gate has stood at the northern entrance to the Old Town since around 1300, outlasting the Laurinc, Vydrica, and Fishermen's Gates that were demolished in the 18th century to allow the city to expand.

Standing 51 metres tall across seven floors, the gate served as the ceremonial stop where 19 Hungarian kings pledged their coronation oaths after being crowned at St. Martin's Cathedral. The gate was rebuilt in its current Baroque form in 1758, when the copper-green spire and bronze statue of Saint Michael slaying the dragon were added to its medieval stonework base.

This 1:188 scale LEGO MOC is an exclusive BOBBY BRIX design recreating one of Bratislava's most iconic landmarks in faithful brick form.
