Perched 85 metres above the Danube on a rocky spur of the Little Carpathians, Bratislava Castle is one of Central Europe's most recognisable fortresses, its four white corner towers visible from across the city and into neighbouring Austria.

The site has been occupied since the Stone Age, served as a stronghold for the Roman Empire, a seat of the Kingdom of Hungary, and a royal residence where the Holy Crown of Hungary was kept for over 200 years in the southwest Crown Tower. Empress Maria Theresa transformed it into a Baroque palace in the 1760s before it was gutted by fire in 1811 and left in ruins for over a century.

This micro-scale LEGO MOC focuses on the principal building and its inner courtyard, faithfully recreating the castle's rectangular form and four corner towers as a standalone diorama display.
