The largest surface combatants built in Russia since the Cold War, the Admiral Gorshkov-class frigates are the only ocean-going warships designed and produced in Russia after the collapse of the Soviet Union.

Laid down in 2006 and finally commissioned in July 2018 after years of delays, the lead ship Admiral Gorshkov is armed with Kalibr cruise missiles, Oniks anti-ship missiles, the Poliment-Redut air defence system, and can carry a Ka-27 helicopter.

At 135 metres and 5,400 tonnes fully loaded, she is a capable multi-role warship designed for open ocean operations across the Arctic, Atlantic, and Mediterranean. This free 85-part micro-scale LEGO MOC recreates her at 1:1000 scale.
