What’s Inside a Bobby Brix MOC Kit?

If you’ve ever wondered what you actually get when you order a Bobby Brix MOC Kit (also known as Building Brick Kit), this guide will give you a clear, transparent and honest look. For this article, we'll use the SS Edmund Fitzgerald kit as an example, but the process is the same for every kit in our store that uses Gobricks.

Packaging You Can Trust

First of all, every single MOC Kit is shipped in a bubble wrap envelope by our manufacturers at Gobricks. They make sure to pack our kits to ensure their safe transit across the globe. Packages are equipped with their own unique tracking codes which are linked to your phone number for maximum reassurance and in-person delivery of your order.

Did you know? Whether you’re in Europe, North America, or anywhere else, shipping is always free on Bobby Brix MOC Kits. The same care and packaging go into every order, from the SS Edmund Fitzgerald to any other design in our store!

Inside the package, you’ll find a yellow reusable ziplock bag with the words “Building Block MOC” printed on it, along with a QR code label that lets you download the building instructions instantly. Of course, the building instructions are already available to download the moment you purchase the kit, but the QR code is a convenient backup if you need them again later or on the spot.

Our MOC Kits are also labeled "Age 3+", however, no matter the age of the child building the model, adult supervision is always advised if not required.

Reusable Storage Bag

We make sure the ziplock bag is generously sized so you can reuse it anytime. Whether you want to store the bricks from your new model, or keep other LEGO® or third-party bricks organized, it’s a handy extra that comes with every order. If you plan on discarding it, please recycle it based on your local regulations.

The Bricks Inside

Inside the yellow bag, you’ll find a transparent sealed plastic bag containing all the bricks needed to build your ordered MOC. Depending on the quantity of bricks, you might find multiple plastic bags containing parts of the model you ordered. If you purchased multiple kits, you might find all the parts in a single yellow bag instead of multiple ones - unless requested.

All parts are new and compatible with LEGO® bricks, just like we mentioned in previous articles. Since we use GoBricks pieces, you can expect high-quality clutch power and accurate colors. But if you do have a problem with one of the pieces, or find some of them missing, don't worry! Just simply contact our support team and we'll send the new parts free of charge (shipping time depends on your location).

Digital Instructions for Any Device

At the moment, all MOC Kits shipped from our manufacturers do not contain printed building instructions to reduce cost and offer them at affordable prices compared to other bricks and LEGO® alternatives.

Instead, building instructions are digital PDF files, meaning you don’t need any special app to open them (some internet browsers are capable of opening them nowadays).

The PDF building instructions can be opened on:

  • Phones 📱
  • Tablets 💻
  • Computers 🖥
  • Or printed on paper at home if you prefer a physical copy.

You can zoom in for close-up details, scroll step-by-step, or print the entire guide for personal use (see our Terms for more details).

Start Building Right Away

And that's it! There’s no complicated setup or extra purchases needed. Once your kit arrives, just open the bag, follow the PDF instructions, and enjoy building your model!
