Build the most iconic shipwreck in Great Lakes history in LEGO!
The SS Edmund Fitzgerald was a 729-foot taconite freighter and the largest ship on the Great Lakes when she launched in 1958, setting season-haul records six times over 17 years of service before vanishing beneath Lake Superior on November 10, 1975, with all 29 crew members aboard. Her last transmission: "We are holding our own."
These PDF building instructions are a redesigned second version of the Bobby Brix MOC, released to mark the 50th anniversary of the sinking, with improved structural stability, updated part substitutions for a lower price-per-part, and a display stand included.
